Reuben is a 2017 Murdoch graduate and started at Swans as a veterinarian shortly after graduation.

A year later, Reuben headed off to San Diego in Southern California to work as a small animal veterinarian. The plan was to stay there, travelling in between for a couple of years. However, when COVID-19 threw a spanner in the works, Reuben returned to Australia after a year.

Reuben rejoined our team midway through 2020 and enjoys working with all species. However, his special interests are in small animal surgery and large animal medicine and surgery.

Reuben and his wife, Richelle, have two kids, a beautiful daughter Harper, and a cheeky boy Oscar, who love the farm life. They are joined by an array of pets, including their kelpie Millie, many cows and chickens on their farm.

In his spare time, Reuben enjoys adventuring with his family, whether it be fishing, camping, boating, or surfing, as well as working on his family’s beef property. Although born and raised in Darwin and Fremantle, Reuben has always had a strong affinity with Esperance, with his extended family being long-time sheep and crop farmers at Cascade.
