Maintaining a healthy mouth is critical to your horse’s wellbeing and condition. Horse teeth continue to grow throughout their life, so they require regular assessment and attention to ensure the correct growth and wearing patterns and to prevent pain and difficulty eating.

Out vets are trained to use Powerfloats under sedation and also perform minor extractions and oral surgeries where required. Excitingly, we do on occasion work in conjunction with our local human Dentist to perform more specialised procedures such as fillings for dental caries (decaying teeth)!
