Dr Isabelle Casey BSc BVMS (Hons)
Born in Esperance District Hospital, Isabelle grew up on a farm in Ravensthorpe. With an endless supply of pets and animals requiring TLC (and some that didn't!) it was there that her love of animals was born and nurtured. Ever since she could say 'veterinarian' (maybe even before), she wanted to become one.
After completing secondary education at St Mary's Anglican Girls' School, Isabelle spent 10 months in Japan as an exchange student. On return she studied Veterinary Science at Murdoch University and graduated with first class merit honors in 2002. Upon graduation Isabelle headed east - initially to Bordertown, SA and later to Mareeba, QLD where she worked as a mixed practice veterinarian.
Isabelle started at SVS in 2007 and now juggles part time work with child wrangling and sheep farming. Isabelle enjoys the lifestyle Esperance has to offer with free weekends spent camping, fishing and exploring the environs.
