Nicole graduated from Murdoch University in 1988. Together with her husband David she established Swans Veterinary Services in 1992. She spends the majority of her professional time working with small animals and running the practice. She has a special interest in oncology, dentistry and acupuncture.
Nicole is often “Vet on Course” at Equestrian WA Eventing competitions throughout the State. This is a 3 phase equestrian competition of dressage, cross country and show jumping. This allows her to combine her career with her love of horse riding.
Nicole is very proud of her 3 daughters Emily, Anna and Olivia. Emily and Olivia both studied Veterinary Science at Murdoch and are third generation veterinarians. Emily now works at Vet 24 Emergency Centre in Perth. Olivia started her career here at Swans Veterinary Services. She is now working at the Hobart Emergency Centre and plans to combine her veterinary career with her love of travel and all things outdoors. Anna studied Sports Science and a Diploma of Education and has an on-line yoga studio (The Swan Effect). Anna is the proud mum of Nicole’s first grand-daughter Azarni..
In recent years Nicole’s ambition to see the practice consolidate and grow is coming to fruition. Nicole finds work fulfilling. Being part of a rural community means that clients and work collegues often become friends and this makes work even more satisfying.
